The House on Wednesday passed an energy bill that extends renewable tax credits for a year, permits off-shore drilling more than 50 miles out, and ends some tax benefits to oil companies.
The administration says they may veto it.
It may not come to that. The Senate has just one more week to pass their own measure and reconcile it with the House bill. Otherwise, renewable energy credits may expire, and so may all limits on offshore drilling.
